Howdy!

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), founded in 1950, is a national nonprofit educational and service organization.  SWE is dedicated to help women achieve success in engineering academically, personally, and professionally.

With an active membership of over 500 students, the Texas A&M chapter of SWE strives to serve the student body, the community, and the College of Engineering, as we continue to grow since 1973.

Through company sponsorship, SWE is able to provide many beneficial services to our members and community.  We accomplish this through scholarships, our annual High School Conference, mentor programs like LEAP, K-12 educational programs like Outreach and STEMfest, community events, bi-weekly meetings, and more.

Visit the Membership page to learn how to can be be involved with SWE TAMU.

SWE would like to thank not only the student body that makes up the organization but also all the sponsors, the EASA Office and wonderful faculty that help SWE grow year after year.
